DryLog retains a team of skilled and knowledgeable technical personnel who are a key department within the DryLog Group and are available at all times. They maintain our vessels to the highest quality standards, always adhering to an ever changing regulatory landscape. The vessels, their equipment and machinery meet, but more often beat, industry metrics. Working in harmony with the technology team, the department is focused on ensuring DryLog vessels are compliant to all current industry requirements, and prepared for all future ones.
The Marine team are there to implement and verify the effectiveness of the Company's HSSQE policies, making sure that the shipboard and shore personnel comply strictly with the national and international regulations, and that the applicable guidelines, standards & codes issued by maritime organisations are fully adhered to.
The team's role extends also to the minimization of impacts resulting from activities ashore and onboard, by working towards a sustainable development and improvement in HSSQE performance, targeting zero injuries and environmental incidents, through planning and the use of integrated management system procedures.
The team comprises of experienced Master Mariners who bring real world advice to this aspect of our business, ensuring that the Company meets the HSSQE targets with a robust adherence to KPIs regarding Health, Safety, Security, Quality and the Environment.
The team currently adheres to numerous maritime regulations & standards, such as the ISM Code, ISPS Code, MARPOL, SOLAS, STCW, MLC 2006, Flag State requirements & ISO 14001:2015.
Our procurement team is tasked with achieving cost sensitive, practical and efficient solutions for vessels’ requirements, be that spare parts, stores or supplies of any kind. The team is constantly monitoring the industry to ensure value and quality are both well achieved and that the vessels’ needs are satisfied on a timely basis and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
The crewing team is tasked with providing the highest levels of seafarers available to serve on board DryLog vessels. Their focus is on selection of appropriate candidates, but furthermore to maintain a retention level to ensure smooth running of DryLog vessels combined with a high level of employee satisfaction, security and safety. Seafarers’ fitness and good health on board is of paramount importance and as such, a rigorous process is undertaken to match personnel to the Group’s philosophy and values.
With its extensive involvement in numerous projects for the construction of over 200 new vessels of all types of Tankers, Bulk Carriers, Container ships, PCTCs, Push Tugs & IW Tankers, Drylog's experienced management team is capable of delivering a wide range of new building project management services of added value and providing support to the Drylog Group for any new building projects.
In a world of ever-changing technology the team is at the industry’s forefront always considering ways by which new building vessels and the fleet performance of our current fleet can be enhanced and improved. The team is in close contact with shipyards, Classification Societies, engine & machinery makers and a further wide array of technical consultants in this field.
